Who is Michael Murphy?
Michael Murphy is an entrepreneur living in Santa Monica, CA. He is a partner with the firm Niche Technologies, and is currently helping businesses produce and manage videos and create video stores with Vidli. When not working (rarely), he’s cycling up mountains, shredding powder on his tele-skis, jamming on his keyboard, or getting spiritual. Michael holds BBA and MS in Accountancy degrees from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, where he graduated number one in both his respective classes. He is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed real estate agent.

I’m always on the lookout for people that can help me with both the mundane and/or spectacular (and everything in between). That’s even more so now that I’ve recently relocated to Santa Monica and am just getting the lay of the land. I plan to create an entire page dedicated to this in the near future, but for now here’s the quick hit list: a good massage therapist (preferably under $45/hour), a hair stylist (I have way more hair now than in the picture above), a cycling partner (to push me on big climbs around Santa Monica), people with ties to solid entrepreneurial networking groups, a keyboard and voice instructor, a sail boat captain, and someone to practice Spanish with (and preferably drink a margarita or two).
